Curfew lifted from Kashmir after 51 days

Authorities on Monday lifted curfew from Kashmir after 51 days since the ongoing unrest began on July 9, officials said.

A delegation of Opposition parties led by former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking an immediate ban on pellet guns and his intervention to end the unrest in the State.
